A two day symposium featuring talks from experts from around the world sharing their experiences with sloths. This symposium will provide delegates with an opportunity to learn about husbandry, conservation and behavior of Choloepus sloths in human care.

In October 2022, Novu Earth ran the 1st International Sloth Symposium. The event was held at Edinburgh Zoo in the UK. Over 50 Delegates from around the world joined together to collaborate on making improvements for Sloths in human care. Throughout presentations, delegates were encouraged to engage and ask questions to facilitate an open discussion and proactive learning environment. Delegates and presenters learnt from each other throughout the 2-day event. Industry experts from around the globe presented on their experience. Presenters ranged from the USA, Sweden, Costa Rica and the UK
